    found this ridiculous sample, and i had to flip it. i think it sounds perfect for an old school, looking back type joint. i also added a reverb snare during the verses to add a bit more presence. let me know what u guys think.

    thanks for listening guys. the reverb snare was something i did just messing around and ran with it

    VV, i dont have anybody lined up for a track on this beat yet.

    I think there's a preset for reverb on FL called "reflection" or something. Or maybe I'm making it up... but I can imagine the effect in my head and vaguely remember playing with it on FL studio. *shrug*

    Anyway I say tone down the reverb on the snare or eliminate it completely.

    And I would do away with the intro, just have the beat start where the drums come in (those types of intros are overdone). Or if i wanted to keep the intro, I'd try fading it in and throw a hi-pass filter on it
